I think Cicago is the highest bar for murder, and robbery because they allow surtain wepons that can kill people that other places don't allow.I think Miami is the highest in assault, burglary, theft, and auto theft because the population is large and the transportation is mostly sudways and have many crazy people walking the streets. Maimi is weather so they have extencive things to steal. National is the lowest on every bar i think because they have strong sucurity and have strongest inforced laws.

I think Miami is the highest bar on every catigory because it is not as safe and controlled as Portsmouth. I also think Portsmouth is the lowest on every one because it is protected really well.

I think Alf is correct because he does not think the car is alive but, thinks a car is a good exaple of a life form. I personaly think that is the right way of looking at it.
Apple vs. plant (plastic)
I think the apple is a living thing because the apple is connected to a tree were it is growing and living and then when you pick a few days after I think it dies.
9-25-09 Bottle-Making
Answers:
1. I think bottles are made of amorphous solid because crystalline solid melts at a specific temperature and would just melt when you heated it. When you heat amorphous solid it becomes softer and softer so you can mold it to any shape you want.
2. The melting point of the mold sould be compared to the temperature at which glass get soft because if the temperature is cool the mold would harden and would not take the right form.
3. I think the parison's viscosity is low because you have very little time to mold the glass into its final shape.
4. I think glass is called a super-cooled liquid because just in the short time on the conveyor belt it cools and hardeds.
